Original WWII German Luftwaffe (Airforce) M35 DOUBLE DECAL HELMET. (Stahlhelm M35) Brought Home By A U.S. Veteran, Certified. Helmet retains a good portion of its original smooth, Luftwaffe blue/grey paint. Second pattern Luftwaffe eagle decal is retained about 98%. National tri-color shield decal WAS REMOVED AS PER THE ORDERS OF 1941. All three liner retaining rivets and both ventilation bushings are all intact. The helmet still has it’s original dome stamp visible! M31 tan leather liner is fully intact with all fingers and original tie string.  The interior, left side, apron has the stamped manufacturer’s code and the size, “SE 66” indicating manufacture by manufacture by Sächsische Emaillier-und Stanzwerke, AG Lauter, (Saxon Enamel and Die/Metal Stamp Works, size 66.  Has the soldier’s initials  painted in black on the neck apron “LB” OUTSTANING  worn and used example.
