RARE OUTSTANDING MASSIVE 40 Pound Metal Wall NSDAP (Nazi Party) Eagle Certified. Unique style Third Reich period building eagle that once hung from the wall of an Elementary school hall in the Medieval town of Boppard, Germany. The eagle is made of bronzed iron and despite the body and the wings of the eagle being hollow, it weighs in at a hefty 20Kgs/ 40 pounds. About 2 feet tall and 17 inches wide. This piece came out the one of the largest collections of Third Reich Eagles which was acquired over many years by a leading expert in the field.  This is the early style political eagle and would date from about the late 1920’s to about 1935.  This is a “one looker” as we say!
