Original German NSDAP (NAZI PARTY) SA (Brown Shirts) Dagger Brought Home By A U.S. Veteran Certified. The blade on this one looks excellent! The acid etched “Alles für Deutschland” motto and “Aug. Merten Ww. Solingen-Gr.” maker mark are both beautifully executed! The crossgrain is easily visible all the way from the hilt to the tip.the tip comes to a sharp point. This blade rates a solid Very Good. There is some spotting around the maker mark along with the common surface scratches throughout. , The steel based, brown anodized scabbard looks great as well!  The solid nickel scabbard fittings show evidence of wear throughout and match the crossguards in color and wear. The ball has been pushed in and all four screws remain tightly intact. The scabbard / crossguard fit is near perfect and close. The brown hardwood grip looks good but used. It shows several pressure marks throughout. a small chip. The solid nickel eagle retains  details and has a perfect fit. The SA roundel has a perfect fit and retains 99%+ of its enamel. A good nut used Vet bring back dagger! Nice period used SA Dagger  captured by a U.S. Veteran   and brought home as a war trophy.
