This was part of the Deschler hoard.  table medals were designed and struck in anticipation of the event(s) and were put into storage in the attic of the Deschler factory in München (Munich) where they were forgotten about for decades.  The material is Tombak (Brass). When they were discovered several years ago, they were sold to a few select collector’s inside of Germany. Very few samples were struck, and this piece is extremely rare.
